In the past month, two separate games have been released by Rockstar Games. "Max Payne 3" was released on May 15th, 2012, and "Grand Theft Auto V" was finally released on September 17th, 2013. These video games were developed by Rockstar Games and published by Take Two Interactive. On November 11th of last year a post appeared on the GTA Forums which described an error that occurred for a user after they updated their computer from Windows 7 to Windows 8. The error that occurred read: "Error: The dynamic library gsrld.dll failed to load." This is most likely an issue with incompatibility between the two operating systems as both are still relatively new products. The following video is an example of the error that occurred on a computer running Windows 8: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsj0zwIWzpk On December 12th, 2013, Rockstar announced that they would be releasing a patch to fix this problem. This patch will be part of the upcoming Rockstar Game Launchers which are due for release in the Spring of 2014. "Max Payne 3" was released to widespread acclaim on May 15th, 2012 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. It was developed by Rockstar North, published by Rockstar Games and distributed in the United States by Take-Two Interactive. "Max Payne 3" received critical acclaim for its graphics engine, storyline, voice acting and multiplayer modes. Metacritic gave it a score of 94/100 based on 58 reviews, indicating "universal acclaim". The game received a nine out of ten from IGN giving it an "Amazing" rating. Destructoid gave the game an 8 out 10 describing it as "a mature work that manages to make what could have been a very clunky experience something much more intense". Game Informer gave it a score of 9.5 out of 10 saying "Rockstar Games has proven over and over again that they're the preeminent developer in the industry." Eurogamer also gave it an 8/10 stating "it isn't just a bigger, better, faster, more everything Max Payne game -- it's an entirely superior experience." GameSpot gave it a score of 9.6/10 saying "Max Payne 3 is that rare thing: a sequel that's clearly not trying to be better than its predecessors." GameTrailers gave the game a 4. 5 out of 5 saying "Max Payne 3 is a triumph that both satisfies its aging fan base and serves as a great introduction to newcomers." "Grand Theft Auto V" was announced on October 25th, 2011, however it wasn't until May of 2012 that Rockstar released any information about what the game will actually consist of. Fans were given access to the first trailer for the game, which was officially titled "Grand Theft Auto V", on October 29th, 2012 through Game Informer magazine. At E3 2013 both Microsoft and Sony announced that GTA V would be released on their new consoles; Xbox One and PlayStation 4 respectively. cfa1e77820
